Next Friday at 8pm the 40 hour famine begins. The year 7/8 kids of Ashley Rakahuri School are taking part. This is our annual fundraising event for the Poutama Tamariki Unit - “The child’s voyage”. Across the year they complete 10 or more tasks across a range of categories (this one is ‘Giving to others’).

2022 we completed the 40HF and raised $2.4K for World Vision. Last year we did Jumping June (skipping) and raised $2.5K for the NZ heart foundation.

This year we’ve set the goal of raising, on average, $50 per person- there are 40 of us doing it.

If anyone would like to help us out, we would very much appreciate it- every dollar counts.

Click on the link and follow the steps.
Thank you very much

Don’t miss out!!! Time to get the orders in for this before Tuesday night. This is being offered as a lunch option on the alternate week to sushi. What could be better than a warm soup and cheese roll on a cold winters day? Orders can be made via Kindo.

Update: help arrived and the four of us got it done… thank you so much to the Gregory-Hunt crew
Morning all. If anyone has a spare hour throughout the day it would be awesome if you could pop down to school and help move some of this bark from the carpark to the garden. The plan is to finish off the end that hasn’t been and then thicken up the rest. The garden at the back and side of office also needs doing but may get that done this morning. Thanks in advance. 😊
