We appreciate the privilege of working in partnership with you in your child’s first steps in their education journey into primary school.
Starting school is an exciting and important time for children and families.
Our school vision of MAHI TAHI ~ BETTER TOGETHER along with our school REACH VALUES of Respect Excellence Aroha Courage and Honesty are an important part of all that we do and the way that we work.
Our team consists of Karen Daly who works with our New Entrants / Year 1 children and Julie McDonald who works with our Year 1-2 children.
We are joined by our wonderful and experienced learning assistants, Jan Dwight and Danica Busch at various times throughout the day.
In Mānuka, we really want to provide a smooth and successful transition for your child into primary school. We love to foster our students’ enthusiasm and love for learning while developing their independence and confidence as learners. We believe every student is unique and learns in different ways, so we work hard to create learning experiences to cater for all. All efforts are celebrated and children are encouraged and supported as they try new things.
Communication is very important to us and we welcome you to come and visit our classrooms. If you have any queries or anything you wish to discuss we are happy to meet at a time that is suitable for both of us.
