“During my time at Ashley Rakahuri Kura, I have had many opportunities. I now realize that this place is perfect—it’s fun, with plenty of clubs and more activities. I have enjoyed myself immensely, made friends easily, and adapted quickly. Also… the teachers are always nice and caring.

Troy (Year 8)
“For the past 8 years here I feel like Ashley Rakahuri has a lot of opportunities. Such as lots of sports like, cross country for all ages, swimming, and winter sports.
There is lots of fundraising like, the colour run, market day, sausage sizzles, mufti days and a lot of other things. I find it enjoyable and fun because we all get to come together as a whole school in whanau house and get to do a variety of sports and activities which makes us come together more often.

Ammie (Year 8)
“At Ashley Rakahuri School we have lots of different opportunities which means there's something for everyone. I like how the teachers have started different clubs for all ages such as chess, gardening wearable arts, and jump jam.

“We love Ashley Rakahuri School for our children because they are a unique, inclusive small country school. There is a really lovely community feel within the school, and our children always feel happy and encouraged.“

“We chose Ashley Rakahuri School for its core values and country feel. It was important to us that our children were well supported through the transitions of pre schooling right through to high school.“
